This week, I decided to try juicing a few different ingredients that are a little “out of the box” and I’m looking forward to sharing those with all of you!
Today, I decided to make a juice that was solely based on flavor. Of course, there are plenty of health benefits to what I made, however I was more interested in experimenting with taste. The key ingredient used today was… a jalapeño pepper! Try this one out:
THE AZ GREEN:
- 1 cucumber
- 1 knuckle ginger
- 1 whole lime
- 1-2 medium jalapeño peppers (size shown in picture)
- 1 mango
- 2 1-inch thick slices of pineapple
- 1 whole bunch cilantro
- 1-2 whole bunch parsley
You’ll find this this juice is really refreshing and not nearly as spicy you think it should be! In fact, if you want more spice, you can always add a little cayenne pepper, an ingredient that will also boost the metabolism.
